Morocco Destinations

Below you’ll find a handful of Morocco’s most compelling destinations. As part of the trip planning process, we can discuss these and brainstorm others to ensure your personalized itinerary matches your interests and priorities.

Fez.

Perhaps the most magical city in Morocco, Fez was founded in the 9th century and is best known for its UNESCO World Heritage medina. You could easily spend days exploring the old city, but for in-depth insight spend some time under the guidance of a local expert, who can introduce you to a selection of the medina’s most worthwhile souks, architectural gems, traditional crafts shops, and intimate local restaurants.

Marrakesh.

Cosmopolitan Marrakesh has long been a must-visit destination for sophisticated world travelers, and today offers a beguiling blend of traditional culture and history, some of the country’s top cuisine, and many of Morocco’s best riads. Along with time spent exploring the vibrant souks of Marrakesh, decompress with relaxing garden strolls and a visit to a rejuvenating hammam.

Sahara Desert.

A chance to disconnect and enjoy the magnificence of the Sahara, spend an evening under the stars in the comfort of a luxury tented camp. Traverse the desert by 4x4 and camel, savor a memorable dinner by candlelight, and gaze at the spectacular colors and textures of the picturesque dunes.

Essaouira.

An attractive and relaxed seaside town, Essaouira’s laid-back pace offers a welcome contrast to the fast-paced energy of some of Morocco’s more popular destinations. The coastal town’s medina is brimming with unique local shops, master craftspeople, and charming little restaurants.

High Atlas Mountains.

A mecca for hiking in Morocco, the High Atlas Mountains are worth visiting for any traveler who loves majestic ranges, rural villages, and luxurious accommodations. This rugged region of Morocco, home to the outstanding Toubkal National Park, remains somewhat off the beaten path, though perennially popular with lovers of the outdoors.
